Planting Seeds of Connection Family Membership:

Cultivating a Love for Nature, Nourishing Future Generations

Planting Seeds of Connection is an exciting new program launching in 2025 that is designed to engage, inspire, and create a sense of community for our children.  Hosted at the National Training Site for Children's Lands Canada in Middleport Ontario, this program offers members the chance to explore and connect with 46 acres of revitalized land, lovingly nurtured and envisioned by local children.

Children are at the heart of everything we do (learn more at @childrenslands (Instagram) or childrenslands.ca), and we believe that creating a strong, supportive community around them is essential. This program is designed for everyone across the life cycle—individuals, partners, families, Elders, youth, and anyone who shares a passion for the earth. Together, we aim to cultivate a vibrant, connected community dedicated to working in harmony with the land and with one another.

Over the course of a 7-month journey, members will learn regenerative food-growing practices while connecting with the land and each other.  As a community, we’ll demonstrate to the children how meaningful life can be when we work together to honour the earth and care for the gifts she provides. We will plant seeds—both in the soil and in the hearts of our children—that will grow into a healthier, more connected future.

Why Join?

Membership offers more than just gardening skills—it’s a chance to build meaningful connections with the earth, with other families, and with a like-minded community. Together, we’ll cultivate knowledge, foster resilience, and create lasting memories.
